My husband had to call her and she supposedly is straightening this out. A supervisor had to approve the credit on our card for the overage of the room cost and she never called us as was promised. There was also an issue with the rate we were given over the phone when we made the reservation and the amount they billed our credit card. We had non smoking rooms but there was always a faint cigarette smell especially during the evening - probably need to update their ventilation system. I think they are planning some renovations on the other floors so maybe that will improve. The staff at this hotel need some training in customer service and just were not helpful at all when we inquired about restaurants in the area. Our friends were given a room on the fourth floor and their room had just been updated so good for them but still not sure why we couldn’t have rooms closer together. Our window looked out at the pool below so we had a constant light from that all night long and noise until about 10 pm. The bathroom sink was chipped and stained. The carpet was worn out and thread bare in places. Our room was on the third floor and it was in need of updating. Not sure why since we have done this at other places with no issue. When we checked in the attendant at the desk knew we wanted rooms close together and he said he could not accommodate that until the other party arrived. We had made reservations for two rooms close together. We met some friends and stayed here one night. Maybe the Hotel Mangers from the Casino should try this out. We stayed the next 2 nights down the road in Walker at a Country Inn. It is sad to see a nice little casino like this that has such a poorly managed hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. I do this by feeling if the grates are cold. I always check to ensure the fridge is on in hotel rooms. When we finally did get into our room I went to the fridge to put some items in there. Obliviously there is something wrong that the hotel is not repairing. We got 2 more keys the first time, 5 keys the second time and 7 keys the last time. The staff said not to put the keys beside your cell phone as this deactivates them. We had to go down 3 additional times to get keys. After checking in, we attempted to get in our room. Only a small counter with only two staff working. The check in for this hotel is inadequate. First off we were informed that the hot tub was not working.
